We clear whole houses across the Main Line and Chester County — estates, downsizing moves and hoarded homes — and we work back from the day it has to be empty.
Tell us the date and we plan around it. Ed and Whit walk the house with you, quote the whole job, then clear it room by room: furniture, appliances, boxes, the attic, the basement, the garage. You don't need to sort anything into piles or carry anything outside.
This is often a hard week for the family, so how it's done matters as much as how fast. We work at your pace, we don't pass judgment on what's in the house, and anything worth donating is set aside instead of going in with everything else.
This is the job when
- The house has to be empty for settlement
- You're the executor and you're doing this from out of state
- A parent is moving into care and the house is still full
What's included
- A walk-through, then one price for the whole house
- Room-by-room clearing, attic and basement included
- Furniture, appliances and mattresses taken together
- Everything carried out by us, from wherever it stands
- Anything usable set aside for donation, not dumped
Reviews
What people say once the truck has gone.
“I recently had to sell my dad's condo which was stressful. E&W made everything so much easier on me. Not only is their pricing affordable but they are incredibly efficient. They made what I thought was a daunting job effortless.”
“E & W Junk Removal did an outstanding job clearing out a home in Phoenixville for the new buyers. They showed up right on time, were extremely communicative throughout the entire process, and brought such a positive, friendly attitude to what could have been a stressful day. They went above and beyond by having me check each room as they completed it to make sure everything was exactly how we wanted, such a thoughtful and professional touch. They were also incredibly personable and easy to work with. To top it off, they swept up before leaving, making the house feel clean and ready for its next chapter. I highly recommend E & W Junk Removal to anyone looking for reliable, thorough, and genuinely kind professionals!”
“Highly recommend. Fast. Very efficient and professional work, great communication, and conscientious about surroundings. Showed up exactly on time. We needed a fully furnished apartment cleared and Ed and Whit did it in like 30 minutes. Very good value.”
How it works
Three steps, and you know the price at step two.
Same drill for one mattress or a four-bedroom house.
Nothing goes in the truck until you've said yes to the price.
When you call
Tell us what needs to go
Call or send the form. Ed or Whit will want to know what it is, which floor it's on and whether there's a date you're working to.
Before anything moves
You get a price
One price for the whole job, carrying included. If you'd rather not go ahead, no hard feelings and no charge.
On the day
We haul it and sweep up
We carry everything out from wherever it's sitting, load the truck and leave the space clear. Anything still usable gets a second life through donation.
Questions
What people ask before they book.
If yours isn't here, just call. You'll get Ed or Whit, not a call center.
Yes. Tell us the date the house has to be empty and we plan the job back from it, room by room, attic, basement and garage included.
Anything still usable goes to donation instead of the landfill — it's the part of the job Ed and Whit care about most. Metal and yard waste are recycled where possible, and the rest is disposed of properly.
No. We carry it out from wherever it is — upstairs, basement, garage, backyard — and that's included in the price. No need to move it, stack it or take anything apart first. Your only job is pointing.
It depends on how much there is and how hard it is to get out. A mattress by the front door and a basement full of furniture are very different jobs, which is why there's no price list. The quote is free, you get it before we start, and nothing gets tacked on afterwards.
