We remove furniture and mattresses across West Chester, the Main Line and the rest of Chester County — from the room it's in, not from the curb.
A sleeper sofa weighs more than most washers and can turn a tight staircase into a real puzzle. That is the job: two people who have carried one before, a dolly, and enough care to keep the walls and the floor the way they were.
Mattresses, bed frames, sectionals, recliners, dressers, desks, televisions and safes all go in the same load. Nothing needs taking apart first — if it has to come apart to get out, we'll do that.
Call us when
- A new sofa arrives and the old one has nowhere to go
- A mattress has to go and trash pickup won't take it
- Nobody in the house can lift it safely
What's included
- Two people carrying, stairs and doorways included
- Mattresses and bed frames in the same load
- Dismantling where something won't fit through a door
- Sweep-up where the furniture stood
- Furniture in good shape goes to donation
Reviews
What people say once the truck has gone.
“We had to move a loved one to a new care facility, and hired E&W to remove the furniture from their previous apartment. Edward and Whit made a sad and exhausting task a lot easier for us. They were responsive, attentive, careful, and extremely fairly priced, and only took around 30 minutes to complete the work. Greatly exceeded our expectations, and I was grateful we'd chosen them!”
“Edward and Wit were the perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. And equally as reliable. They stayed in touch with us ahead of time so we knew exactly when to expect their arrival. Then, they expertly removed everything efficiently and smoothly. Their price was more than fair, the best one we found. I highly recommend this company to anyone looking to remove furniture, bulky items, or junk. They were really great!”
“Whit and Ed were amazing! They helped clear out heavy pieces of furniture from my basement. They came prepared with their equipment and their customer service was excellent.”
How it works
Three steps, and you know the price at step two.
Same drill for one mattress or a four-bedroom house.
Nothing goes in the truck until you've said yes to the price.
When you call
Tell us what needs to go
Call or send the form. Ed or Whit will want to know what it is, which floor it's on and whether there's a date you're working to.
Before anything moves
You get a price
One price for the whole job, carrying included. If you'd rather not go ahead, no hard feelings and no charge.
On the day
We haul it and sweep up
We carry everything out from wherever it's sitting, load the truck and leave the space clear. Anything still usable gets a second life through donation.
Questions
What people ask before they book.
If yours isn't here, just call. You'll get Ed or Whit, not a call center.
It depends on how much there is and how hard it is to get out. A mattress by the front door and a basement full of furniture are very different jobs, which is why there's no price list. The quote is free, you get it before we start, and nothing gets tacked on afterwards.
Any disposal fee is included in the quote you agree to before we start.
No. We carry it out from wherever it is — upstairs, basement, garage, backyard — and that's included in the price. No need to move it, stack it or take anything apart first. Your only job is pointing.
Anything still usable goes to donation instead of the landfill — it's the part of the job Ed and Whit care about most. Metal and yard waste are recycled where possible, and the rest is disposed of properly.
