These guys are great! Fast, efficient and stepped up to get the job done. I had to clean out my basement, they swooped in and made it disappear. I highly recommend E&W.

We clear garages, attics and basements around Malvern and across Chester County and the Main Line — everything out, floor swept, in one visit where we can.

These three rooms fill up the same way: one box at a time, over ten or twenty years. Clearing one is less about muscle than pace. We bring things out in order, check with you before anything questionable goes in the truck, and set aside whatever you want to keep. Surprise finds are common.

We can't take old paint, chemicals or asbestos. If we spot any, we'll tell you up front and leave it set aside for proper disposal.

Call us when

  • The car hasn't seen the inside of the garage in years
  • You need the basement empty before work starts down there
  • You're moving and the attic is the last thing left

What's included

  • Everything carried out, including from the back wall
  • Furniture, appliances and boxes in the same load
  • Bikes, tools, lawn furniture, exercise equipment
  • Floor swept before we leave
  • Bikes, tools and furniture with life left in them donated

“Ed and Whitt were great! Got scheduled quickly. Showed up on time and were super efficient. In and out in 2 hours to clean and empty my attic that had lots of debris from new roof being installed. Highly recommend them! Very nice guys and easy to work with.”

“We were so pleased with the garage junk removal service we had recently from E&W. Whit and Nick were extremely courteous, punctual, and efficient. We are decluttering our garage in several phases and Whit was easy to work with in this effort. We will definitely be using them again and highly, highly recommend!”

How it works

Three steps, and you know the price at step two.

Same drill for one mattress or a four-bedroom house.

Nothing goes in the truck until you've said yes to the price.

  1. When you call

Tell us what needs to go

Call or send the form. Ed or Whit will want to know what it is, which floor it's on and whether there's a date you're working to.

  2. Before anything moves

    You get a price

One price for the whole job, carrying included. If you'd rather not go ahead, no hard feelings and no charge.

  3. On the day

We haul it and sweep up

We carry everything out from wherever it's sitting, load the truck and leave the space clear. Anything still usable gets a second life through donation.

Questions

What people ask before they book.

If yours isn't here, just call. You'll get Ed or Whit, not a call center.

It depends on how much there is and how hard it is to get out. A mattress by the front door and a basement full of furniture are very different jobs, which is why there's no price list. The quote is free, you get it before we start, and nothing gets tacked on afterwards.

If you can't be there, call and we'll work out access.

No. We carry it out from wherever it is — upstairs, basement, garage, backyard — and that's included in the price. No need to move it, stack it or take anything apart first. Your only job is pointing.

Anything still usable goes to donation instead of the landfill — it's the part of the job Ed and Whit care about most. Metal and yard waste are recycled where possible, and the rest is disposed of properly.

We work out of Exton and cover the Route 30 and 202 corridor and the whole Main Line, from Phoenixville to Narberth.

You'll get a straight price from one of the two people who'll actually do the lifting. Then we haul it off and leave the space clear.
